Al MacLachlan

Al MacLachlan has worked as a television cameraman and director, as a documentary writer/director, as a professional photographer and as a journalist. He has written for The Globe and Mail, The Georgia Straight, several magazines and newspapers.

In 2007 Ekstasis Editions of Victoria published his novel After The Funeral to good reviews, and recently released Murmurs of the Dead, also with good reviews.

Al studied at Concordia University in Montreal, and Seneca College in Toronto before moving to Vancouver, where he lived for several years.

He presently spends his time writing both fiction and non-fiction, runs Wildwest Communications, and the online magazine Wildernesstravels.com. He lives on Vancouver Island.
