Peruse the edgy, challenging and unusual offerings of the ‘Underground Craft Fair’ taking place 11am – 7pm in the Lower Elks Hall, with access from the alley between 5th and 6th street. (Simms Street.) Over thirty independent creators of all things curiously bizarre and whimsically strange will be demonstrating and selling their wares. Have your portrait sketched, re-construct a Barbie, watch a tattoo artist at work…or go under the needle yourself, all to the sounds of moody, meandering, dreamy, dark, original live music. Tria culinary studio will be offering “Elevate Tarts”, savoury and sweet treats through the day. Tea cozies and doilies have their place, and it is not at the ‘Underground”.
