Elevate is seeking a volunteer to coordinate and run Elevate’s Mobile Music Lab.
Here’s a fun job! In a nutshell, this volunteer position would look after the following:
- collect musical instruments that need a new home (maybe craigslist, or personal connections, crowdsource on facebook?)
- set up a pop up instrument petting zoo for kids at Elevate and occasionally other events
- Elevate would supply the tent and other technical requirements as needed
- you would create the environment, the experience, the memories!
- Must be available June 6 & 7 to setup and take down the project. Elevate will supply extra volunteers to help run it during the festival.
This would suit a musically inclined mom or dad (or big brother, or aunt…). May require a criminal record check as it would directly involve working with kids.
