Oscar Robles Diaz joins Union Street Grill and Grotto with his acoustic guitar to debut a repertoire that focuses on Spanish flamenco, with a very non-traditional twist. Cuban Trova (troubadour songs) and jazz are added to mix, and the result is a form of Flamenco Nuevo. A modern derivative of traditional flamenco, Flamenco Nuevo is a term to describe basically anything that fits under the colourful umbrella of what is known today as contemporary flamenco.

Fox&Bee creates short films in the Comox Valley featuring a wide range of subjects. From documentaries to murder mysteries. From quirky character studies to fun animations. On December 13th, they will show films from their latest project ‘The Secret Lives of Vegetables’ as well as a selection of their previous work. Sunday Dennis is a home grown Quadra Island girl happily transplanted in the Sunday DennisComox Valley. Her music exudes a West Coast feel with an acoustic, percussive, pure and sweet melodious style that captivates her audience in real way. Inspired by surrounding sounds, light, moments of time, memories, dreams, spaces and places, her music and lyrics are creatively interwoven.
