Join the Parade of Elevated Fools!
A parade for all ages and all species – everyone’s welcome!
Dress to the nines in your finest bowties, butterfly wings, and monkey suits. Clowns, jugglers, fairies, dancers, horn players, stiltwalkers – there’s definitely room for you. Decorate your stroller! Wear a moustache! Be a BEE as we swarm Downtown. Carry a GIANT puppet or grab a banner, and take Elevate frivolity to the streets and alleys.
Meet behind the Union Street Grill and Grotto at 3 pm to learn chants and rhythms, right before the parade.
- PARADE GATHERS: 3 pm June 4th
- WHERE: Behind Union Street Grotto (Parking lot beside the Echo)
- WE MARCH: 3:30., heading for Duncan Avenue Commons and the big Duncan Commons Carnival that starts at 4:00 pm.
- STILL NEEDED: Parade horns, rovers and puppeteers…
