Project Watershed and K’ómoks First Nation have collaborated to build a model of an Ancient Fish Trap like the ones found in the K’ómoks Estuary.
It highlights groundbreaking research that was just published in Dec 2015. It brings the estuary into downtown along with an abundance of history. The number of traps and their capacity for catching fish shows that this really was the land of plenty.
