The printing press arrived in 1440, the novel in 1605 with Don Quixote. The novel is one of the worlds’ most disruptive technologies expanding humanity’s empathic reach, and inspiring dreams for even common folk.
This interactive workshop will facilitate design thinking and open source strategies from artists, design creatives, all brands and stripes of writers, and anyone with an inspired dream (i.e. you) to augment a novel project for social impact in this digitally driven age.
and then we dance is a 20-year novel project by Comox Valley local Lee White. A story aimed at social impact, Lee invites you to join him disrupt the publishing industry. You may even be at the inception of a revolutionary publishing platform in the Comox Valley.
About Lee White
Growing up between the Yukon and Vancouver Island, Lee’s imagination has been shaped by wilderness as much as by culture. He followed the notion of “doing everything at least once for the novel” adventuring around the world and settling in the Comox Valley.
Lee studied writing under Richard B. Wright and writing books from Canadian mountaineering legend Chic Scott. Lee has published two versions of rapt in awe a philosophy book written in part in rap verse.
and then we dance is the culmination of Lee’s path, a novel project 20 years in the works.
