Fiddlejam

Fiddlejam is an eclectic group of 30 or so musicians that have been playing around the Comox Valley for the past eleven years.  Started by Trent Freeman, participants now come from as far away as Campbell Riverand Parksville and range in age from six to 96.  Though primarily a fiddle group, accordions, guitars, mandolins and piano also fill out the sound.  It is great to see adults and youth playing together and having a whole lot of fun.  Fiddlejam plays a variety of tunes from traditional Old Time, to Celtic, to Swing and plays for the popular Contra Dances in Merville as well as a variety of fundraisers and private events throughout the year.
